About the seminar

Kensei iaido Seishin is for all iaido trainees with basic knowledge of Seitei Iai and are members of ČFK or national organizations within EKF.

Seminar focuses mainly for preparation for grading.

Information for attandees

• Attendees must wear japanese training clothing – keikogi and hakama, beginners can attend in appropriate sports clothing covering whole legs and arms.
• Only traditionaly made japanese nihonto or practice sword iaito is allowed, beginners are allowed to use bokuto (bokken).
• Sword has to be undamaged. It is not allowed to practice with imiation swords or decorative swords.
• Organizer reserves the right to deny entry to people with inappropriate clothing, equipment or with behavior violating etiquete or safety rules for iaido practice.

December 1st (Friday)

• 19:00 – 21:00 – Welcome keiko – own practice under teachers‘ supervision

December 2nd (Saturday)

Whole Saturday there will be special iaido training focused on women lead by Adriana Nagyová.

• 10:00 – Seiretsu
• 10:15 – 11:30 – Morning iaido keiko
• 11:30 – 11:45 – 15 min break
• 11:45 – 13:00 – Morning iaido keiko
• 13:00 – 14:30 – Lunch
• 14:30 – 16:30 – Afternoon iaido keiko
• 16:30 – 17:00 – 30 min break
• 17:00 – 18:00 (18:30) – Evening Keiko
• 20:00 – Sayonara party (need to register)

December 3rd (Sunday)

• 09:30 – Seiretsu
• 09:35 – 12:00 – Morning iaido keiko
• 12:00 – 12:30 – 30 min break
• 12:30 – 14:00 – preparation for exams
• 14:30 – Exams from 1st kyu up to 3rd dan
